Some 12,000 participants headed through the doors at BIM World Paris, from 5th - 6th April 2023 at the Paris Expo, France. 300 exhibitors took to their stands, with the Eurovent Certita Certification (ECC) and PRODBIM team joining BIM&CO in their impressive exhibition and workshop area at booth D10. BIM&CO also invited Sandrine Marinhas, Managing Director of PRODBIM and Philippe Caron, Marketing Director of Gree Products, to hold a workshop on "Interconnection of Eurovent certified data to GREE BIM Objects. Why this approach, what advantages, who is it for?" on Thursday, 6th April.
Billed as the leading event for digital transformation in construction, real estate and urban development, BIM World Paris saw leading experts, companies and professionals from the world of construction and BIM come together for two-days of presentations, workshops, knowledge building and networking.
BIM&CO invited its partners in the “Pôle Fabricants” (manufacturers division) to join their workshop and exhibition space, to present their solutions and to meet professionals and key players in the construction sector. The event offered participants access to ECC’s and PRODBIM’s expertise and the opportunity to ask questions to better understand the standards and requirements for HVAC&R product certification. The event also highlighted to manufacturers the avenues available to promote certified products via BIM objects, portals and marketplaces.
The “Pôle Fabricants” included not only Eurovent Certita Certification and PRODBIM, but Manitou Group, Sepalumic, L’UFME, and UNIQ. All were on hand to discuss topics such as digitalisation, digital continuity, collaboration, norms and standards, the energy transition and the future of construction.
In the workshop area, PRODBIM’s Sandrine Marinhas and Philippe Caron, presented on the interconnection of Eurovent certified data with GREE BIM Objects. The presentation answered the key questions of why this approach? What were the advantages? And to whom is it addressed? Both Sandrine and Philippe shared their insights on the benefits of integrating certified data with BIM objects, from the perspective of the different actors in the construction sector.
All agreed BIM World Paris 2023 was a blazing success. Our thanks go to the BIM&CO team for inviting us to join their stand and speak in their workshop programme.
