From 24th-25th October, the Eurovent Certita Certification (ECC) and ProdBIM team joined other heat pump industry experts at the European Heat Pump Summit at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg, Germany. While the team discussed certification and digitalisation in the Foyer Expo area at booth 14, Sales Manager, Tim Kroeger joined an international line-up of speakers by presenting "Unlocking Energy Efficiency: Certified Heat Pumps and Chiller Technology for a Sustainable Future."
With 570 participants from a total of 42 countries, the European Heat Pump Summit brought together prominent speakers and an audience of international decision-makers, representing all areas of heat pump production and application.
The Summit linked the present and the future of heat pumps with a wide range of themes including:
The high quality technical programme was undeniably the centrepiece of the event. With a focus on fostering professional dialogue and interaction on current developments, research results and opportunities to reduce energy consumption using renewable resources, the summit also tackled the challenges facing the use of heat pump technologies. A 420 seater auditorium played host to the seminar sessions with Tim’s presentation taking the last afternoon slot on the second day.
“Unlocking Energy Efficiency: Certified Heat Pumps and Chiller Technology for a Sustainable Future,” showcased the pivotal role of certified heat pumps and chillers in achieving a sustainable future. The presentation took delegates on a voyage of discovery through the benefits of certification and how it leads to reduced energy consumption and lower emissions. Tim covered the key themes of:
Tim’s presentation was well received by a perceptive audience, who participated in an insightful Q&A session to end.
The accompanying Foyer Expo complemented the European Heat Pump Summit’s technical programme by providing a platform to talk to delegates and network, in between the seminar sessions. Those who visited booth 14, gained an understanding of how certification helps to set a standard for heat pump quality and performance, while the ProdBIM team educated manufacturers and industry professionals like on how to embrace digitisation to stay competitive.
The ECC and ProdBIM teams praised the European Heat Pump Summit as a very well organised event, with a quality technical programme that was both interesting and informative. Thanks go to the organisers, those who dropped by the booth and those who attended Tim’s presentation.
