One of our UK collaborations is with CIBSE, the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers. About CIBSE

CIBSE is a professional body dedicated to advancing the art, science and practice of building services engineering. It aims to invest in education and research, and to support built environment professionals in their pursuit of excellence. CIBSE’s work extends to:

CIBSE Patrons

Eurovent Certification is a member of the CIBSE Patrons, a group created to provide an official means for organisations to engage with CIBSE - fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and networking with the broader CIBSE community.

The primary focus of the CIBSE Patrons is improving the recruitment and retention of engineers on behalf of the whole industry. 

CIBSE Patrons sponsor bursaries, awards and a range of materials, as well as events, designed to support the Institution’s work and young engineers.

Events and conferences

CIBSE recently partnered with Eurovent Association, Eurovent Certification and the Building Engineering Services Association (BESA) on the IQAmatters Conference by Eurovent: Breathing achievement in every classroom. On Wednesday, 22 January 2025, delegates from the world of academia and HVAC joined for an extraordinary conference delving into the topic of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) in educational settings, at 
the Institute of Engineering Technology, in London, UK.

Eurovent Certification is also attending a range of CIBSE events this year, such as the CIBSE Building Performance Awards 2025 and the CIBSE IBPSA-England Technical Symposium 2025, in April, in which Eurovent Association is a media partner.
