From 23rd-26th April, the construction community gathered in Sweden for Nordbygg, the Nordic region's largest meeting place for the building and real estate industry. Taking place at Stockholmsmässan in Stockholm, the biennial event gathered visitors together from the building sector in Sweden and the rest of Scandinavia, the Baltic states and wider Europe.
Organised by the Swedish Building Materials Industries, the Swedish Association of Energy and Environmental Technology, the Swedish Glass Industry Association, the Swedish Association of Installers, the Swedish Ventilation Association, and VVS-Fabrikanterna, (the plumbing and water industry's trade association), the event boasted over 200 seminars across the exhibition halls and 900 exhibitors.
The full Eurovent family of Eurovent Certification, Eurovent Association, Eurovent Market Intelligence and ProdBIM were in attendance, and could be found on exhibition stand A21:15. As well as exhibiting, Eurovent Certification held a presentation on sustainability and indoor air quality (IAQ), plus the team took the opportunity to explore the ventilation and indoor climate conference, RoomVent 2024, which ran alongside. 2024 was a special year for the RoomVent conference, which made a triumphant return in its 17th edition, to the city where it all began in 1987.
Back at Nordbygg, the presentation, "A Key for a Sustainable Building and Enhanced IAQ," was led by Eurovent Certification Consultant Timo Schreck, on April 25th. The presentation took a deep dive into:
Over at the exhibition, the full crew were on hand to discuss the activities of the Eurovent family with manufacturers and industry professionals, including certification, the association, market statistics, plus digitalisation tools and support.
Our thanks go to those who attended the presentation, visited the stand and to Nordbygg for a successful show.
