The run up to FinnBuild 2024 was full of excitement as the trade show promised celebrations would be in full swing for its 50th birthday edition. The doors opened from 8th-10th October, at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre, Finland, for the renowned International Construction and Building Technology Trade Fair. Eurovent Certification could be found at stand 6B99 in the Talteka area and took to the stage on Thursday morning to present with a cohort of certified ventilation manufacturers.

Featuring seven exhibition halls, FinnBuild holds the title as the largest construction industry event in Northern Europe, showcasing the latest products and services, working methods and solutions for construction and building technology.

The show boasted a varied technical programme, with the Eurovent Certification presentation taking place in the GreenPro theatre on 10th October at 11.30am. Standing together to spread the word on the benefits of product certification for HAVC professionals, Eurovent Certification and certified manufacturers Flakt Group, Systemair Finland, Enervent, Camfil, and Lindab, collaborated on the presentation, “Eurovent Certification - third-party certification promotes trust and transparency.” 

When it was time to present, Timo Schreck, consultant for Eurovent Certification, was joined on the stage by special guests Tony Lönnberg from Systemair, Mikael Virtanen from Flakt and Jukka Linjama from Camfil. Our thanks go to Tony, Mikael and Jukka as well as all of those who attended the session.

Back on the exhibition stand, the Eurovent Certification team made the most of discussing the benefits of certification with manufactures and HVAC professionals alike, and of course joining in the 50th celebrations. Happy birthday FinnBuild!
