A new Chairman was elected to the Chilled Beams Programme Committee at a meeting on 19th March at the Hilton Paris, Charles de Gaulle Airport, France. Dr. Panu Mustakallio of Halton Oy, has stepped into the role as Chairman, to help guide the efficient working of the Committee, as it makes crucial decisions on the development of the Chilled Beams programme.
Each Eurovent Certified Performance programme has a Programme Committee, which supervises the evolution of the programme. The Programme Committee monitors the application of the certification, proposes up-dates to the requirements and assures the programme’s promotion within the industry.
Each Committee elects a Chairman, with the role running for a renewable period of three years. The Chairman role is impartial, respectful of the values that guide certification, and the candidate must be an advocate for the promotion of the principle and the benefits of voluntary certification. The Chairman has the responsibility to ensure the Committee works efficiently and in a timely manner, so that the Committee produces its works in due time.
All programme participants have a place on the Committee. Participating in the chilled beams meeting alongside colleagues from Eurovent Certification, were the manufacturers:
