Check out page 40-41 of the latest Chiller & Cooling Best Practices magazine, where Eurovent Certita Certification (ECC) and its newly promoted Business Partnership Manager, Ian Butler, feature in an article on the 2023 Cooling Technology Institute’s (CTI) Annual Conference. Written by Bill Smith, Associate Content Manager, the article gives an overview of the event’s educational curriculum, shares the perspectives of participating businesses, and highlights products and services offered by select exhibitors at the event’s trade show.
The 2023 CTI Annual Conference was aimed at manufacturers, owner operators, and suppliers of heat rejection equipment (i.e. cooling towers, adiabatic coolers and dry coolers). Held from 29th January to 2nd February at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee, the conference featured over 35 high quality presentations including seminars, panel discussions, and the ever-popular Ask-the-Expert Seminar. There was a full line up of events, with Ian manning the ECC stand as part of the accompanying trade show. Ian also made the most of networking opportunities such as the table top event, which offered time to meet manufacturers and industry professionals to discuss the important issues facing the sector.
From ECC’s perspective, the CTI’s Annual Conference was an event not to be missed. With a long history of collaboration between the two bodies, the conference and trade show offered the chance to remind manufacturers, owner operators and suppliers, of the partnership between ECC and CTI on selected certification programmes. Of particular interest to participants was that ECC certified manufacturers can request a corresponding CTI certification on affiliated programmes and vice versa, strengthening the position of certified products.
